Abstract
Islam is considered the final religion by Allah Almighty. It treats its believers with respect and urges them to demonstrate moral, economic, and religious morality even with those who do not share their beliefs. Pakistan, with its population of over 200 million people and diverse religious landscape, recognizes religion as an integral part of its identity for the majority of its citizens. In such a context, promoting good interfaith relations between different faith communities becomes crucial.
Numerous efforts have been made throughout Pakistan's history to combat religious extremism, intolerance, and hatred, which are challenges faced by societies worldwide. Initiatives like "Paigham-e-Pakistan" represent serious efforts in this regard. Through platforms like this, interfaith and intrafaith efforts are made to promote respect for diversity and restore trust among communities. These efforts aim to reduce feelings of threat and fear, recognizing Islam's belief in establishing a society that is safe for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Islam advocates for the establishment of a society based on higher human and moral values, where religious harmony prevails. Muslims are encouraged to adopt the best practices from society, regardless of religion or sect, to prevent the spread of religious hatred and strengthen societal foundations. Following the example set by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who established documents safeguarding political, religious, socio-economic, and legal rights for minorities, is essential.
To foster interfaith and intrafaith relations, dialogue, lectures, training programs, and educational curricula are vital tools. These initiatives aim to instill respect for other beliefs in future generations, alongside their own. Both the state and religious scholars (ulema) have important roles to play in preventing the spread of religious and sectarian hatred. Collaboration among ulema, community leaders, and social media platforms can help create an atmosphere of harmony and understanding. Ultimately, cooperation among all segments of society is crucial for building an inclusive and tolerant society where all religions can coexist peacefully under the principles of Islam.
للہ تعالی کی طرف سے اسلام آخری دین ہے۔ اسلام اپنے مومنوں کو احترام کے ساتھ پیش آتا ہے اور انہیں بھی ان کے ساتھ اخلاقی، معاشی اور دینی اخلاق کا اظہار کرنے کی ترغیب دیتا ہے، چاہے وہ مومن نہ ہوں۔ پاکستان ایک ۲۰۰ ملین سے زائد آبادی والا ملک ہے اور مختلف مذاہب کے لوگوں کی زمین ہے۔ پاکستان جیسے ملک میں، جہاں مذہب بڑی تعداد میں لوگوں کی شناخت کا ایک جزو سمجھا جاتا ہے، مختلف مذاہب کے درمیان اچھے مذہبی تعلقات کو فروغ دینا بہت اہم ہے۔ ہر عہد میں پاکستان میں مذہبی انتہا پسندی، بے رواداری اور نفرت کو ختم کرنے کی کئی کوششیں کی گئی ہیں، جو آج کی معاشی روایت میں ہر انسانی معاشرت میں دیکھی جا سکتی ہیں۔ "پیغام پاکستان" اس اہم مقصد کے حصول کا ذریعہ ہے۔ اس پلیٹ فارم کے ذریعے، مذہبی اور مذہبی تعلقات کو احترام اور اختلافات کو بحالی کا احساس دلایا جاتا ہے۔ یہ انتہائی خوف اور دہشت کی فضاء کو کم کرے گا۔ اسلام ایسی معاشرت قائم کرنے کی اہمیت دیتا ہے جو مسلمانوں کے لئے ہی نہیں بلکہ غیر مسلمانوں کے لئے بھی محفوظ ہو۔ انسانیت کو بچانے کا واحد ذریعہ اسلام کی تعلیم اور حضرت محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم کی ہدایات ہیں۔ ایک مسلمان دوسرے مذاہب اور فرقوں کے ساتھ معاشرت میں بہترین اصولوں کو اپنا سکتا ہے تاکہ دینی نفرت کو معاشرت میں پھیلنے نہ دیا جائے اور معاشرت اعلی انسانی اور اخلاقی قدروں پر مضبوط بنائی جا سکے۔ حضرت محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نے مسلمانوں کے ساتھ سیاسی، مذہبی، سسماجی- معاشی اور قانونی حقوق کا چارٹر دیا، حتی کہ اسلام کی حکومت قائم ہونے کے بعد بھی، اقلیتوں کے حقوق کی حفاظت کرنا،ان اصولوں کی پیروی کرتے ہوئے ہم ایک مثالی معاشرت قائم کرسکتے ہیں جہاں تمام مذاہب اسلام کے سائے کے ساتھ رہ سکتے ہیں۔ یہ تعلیمات نئی نسل کو سکھانی چاہیے تا کہ وہ نہ کہ صرفاپنے عقیدے کا بلکہ دوسرے عقیدوں کا بھی احترام کریں، بین المذاہب تعلقات کو گفتگو، محاضرات، تربیتی پروگرام اور نصاب کے ذریعے فروغ دیا جا سکتا ہے، کیونکہ اللہ کے نزدیک دین تو صرف اسلام ہے
