About Us

JASH is a bilingual e-journal and has been planned to publish in English and Urdu, promoting contemporary societal debates and social deliberations without limitation of topic or approach. It welcomes original research papers, review articles, rapid communications, observational studies, theoretical/conceptual write-ups, case and methodological studies, notes and extension reports, authoritative opinions and commentaries, and other relevant communications. It will be abstracted, crawled and indexed by abstracting/indexing agencies of international repute.

ASH covers a broad range of research areas, including but not limited to Arts and Humanities, Sociology and Social Sciences, Anthropology and Archaeology, Psychology and Behavioral Studies, Education, Economics, Political Science and International Relations, Law and Public Administration, History and Cultural Studies, Religious Studies, Journalism, Media Studies, Criminology, Library and Information Sciences, Women and Gender Studies, and other related fields.

History

JASH started in October 2023 as a bilingual, open-access scholarly digital journal of the Pakistan Agricultural Scientists Forum (PAS Forum), with the aim of providing a scholarly forum for intellectuals to exchange and discuss their ideas regarding contemporary societal issues.
